My Dear Child,
The eyelashes, despite being short and thin, help protect our eyes. They prevent dirt from entering our eyes. Eyelashes measure about 1 cm. The animal with the longest eyelashes is the camel, with an average of 16cm. Wow, that is very long! Eyelashes grow faster than the hair on your head. Every day we lose between one and five eyelashes, which are quickly replaced. Eyelashes are renewed in approximately 90 days. Each eyelash is different in its length and shape. Our bodies are wonderful, even small things are important. Take care of your eyes and everything around them.
