The Secretariat department is an administrative body responsible for processing calls for missionaries worldwide, including inter-division employees, or missionaries, and Adventist Volunteers. It processes worker employment placements between unions, as well as providing support and promotion for the mission program of the church.
Secretariat also prepares committee agendas, archives committee minutes, trains and supports regional church secretariat departments and maintains the SID’s Working Policy.
