The first known clock was made by the Egyptians, who invented the sun clock, and also the water clock. With these two devices they were able to measure time in the day and at night. As the years passed, the hourglass was invented and subsequently, very large clocks were created that stood high on the bells towers of towns and cities, that rang out loudly every hour. With such a sound, people all over the place had an idea of the time.
The clock constantly reminds us how valuable our time is. It is important to learn, study, share and live each day in the best possible way. “Take advantage of every opportunity…” Ephesians 5:16
