My Dear Child,
Do you know something? The salt we use in our food seems insignificant but it contains great value in itself. Many years ago, salt was even a form of payment, rather than the money we know today.
Salt also preserves food and adds flavor to the food. Our body needs it. Salt is important in our lives.
Since it has such indispensable value, God reminds us, both you and I “are the salt of this earth” Matthew 5:13.
