The Lamp and its Light

My Dear Child,

I am sure you have noticed the lamps at home or those on the road outside. A lamp is fitted with a bulb that helps to transforms electrical energy into light. Inside the glass casing it has a metal wire. It has been one of the greatest inventions of mankind. Currently, there is a wide variety of lamps on the market, but the basic function of any lamp is to give off light. Light is most appreciated when it is dark. So we can see things arounds us. That is why God compares the Bible to a lamp. The instruction from the Bible gives us light. In any of life’s situation we may find ourselves in, it is always best to look for that light.

” Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105

With much love,
