The Effect of My Words

My Dear Child,

Did you know that the brain immediately processes every word we utter or even think about? The brain will send signals to the body. If the words are positive, they will produce happiness and desires to want to do things well. But if they are negative, it will make both your tonsils and the rest of the body go on alert and make you feel sad, and tired. Let’s use more positive words, those that affirm and are a blessing. I want to tell you that I am happy to know that you are part of my life and being a part of your life is one of the best things that has happened in my life. You have no idea how much joy you have brought into my life!”

“Love… not proud, rude or selfish, not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:5

With much love,
