The Breath in My Nose

My Dear Child,

One of the most important parts of your body is your nose, which continues to grow from your childhood. Through the nose we breathe and filter the air that enters our body, which is necessary to survive. Thanks to our nose, we are able to distinguish thousands of different smells. Did you know that when we tell a lie it increases blood pressure and inflames nose tissues, causing temperature to rise? It means that our nose becomes a little warmer. The Bible reminds us that as long as air continues to enter our body through our nose, we should speak only good things.

“… As long as I am alive and God’s breath of life is in my nose, my lips will not speak evil, and my tongue will not tell a lie.” Job 27:3-4
