Is the place where I come, open up the deepest part of my heart and reveal the most secret thoughts. That place where the soul expresses the most painful feelings, where tears do not feel shy when leaving a mark. That place where joy meets sadness, where the clock loses track of time, where there is room for jubilance and gratitude. That’s the place where Your ear knows no rest. Teach me, Lord, to make that place, my hallowed space, a time of genuine restoration. Continually take me to that place where Your presence never leaves me. Take me continually to the altar of prayer.
