Serving One Master

Dear Lord,

In this life there are many distractions and there are times when it takes my attention away from you. I know I haven’t always put my priorities in the right order and for this reason the consequences of some decisions hurts. I know that my relationship with You and my family should be my top priority and at times I have failed because of my attempts to divide my time and attention among other things that have not been a priority. I would not want to serve more than one master; my life, my time and my resources belong to you. Help me, to always give You first place, therefore, having the full assurance that everything else will fall into place.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to look for you again every day.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
