My Dear Child,
Learning to be patient in life is not easy. One of the qualities we most need to develop every day is patience. Have you noticed how sometimes our face or behaviour changes when we are impatient? We frown, our eyes widen more than usual, we sigh, we don’t use the right words, we react quickly, among others. We are the happiest people at home, at school, at the grocery store, or at church, when we learn to wait, whether it’s for something or even for an answer. Wait calmly… Count some numbers, smile, look at what’s around you, or sing while you wait. The result will always be more positive when we are patient.
“Love is patient.” 1 Corinthians 13:4
With much love,
