Keep the Flame Burning

My Dear Child,

There’s something very interesting I want to share with you. Most objects including the body casts a shadow, but did you know that a flame doesn’t? You know why? Because a shadow occurs when an opaque or dark body does not let light pass; but fire generates its own light, so it cannot prevent the passage of light because it itself is a source of light.

In this same way, we must be a source of light for others, let the light of Christ pass through us. “Light shines in the dark, and nothing can destroy it!” John 1:5

With love, Dad/Mom
