My Dear Child,
Pasture, lawn or grass, as it is called in different countries, beautifies every place, and makes it a natural environment. Some animals, such as the cow, eats grass as their main food, but also, it is very important to humans. The grass helps to reduce the temperature in the environment. Giant bamboo is the largest of all variety of grass. Did you know that grass produces a seed and that’s how it reproduces? This small green plant is mostly made up of water. Being that small, it also helps improve air quality, as it produces oxygen and traps dust and other pollutants circulate in the air. This plant helps prevent erosion by keeping the soil in place, through its roots. Grass is one more element of the beautiful things God created for our delight.
“He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters.” Psalm 23:2
With much love,
