Dear Lord,
This week passed quickly. Sometimes life doesn’t seem to be that simple, I feel tired at the end of the day. I dusted, and tidied, cleaned the floors, cooked, washed and ironed the laundry, and I know I was able to accomplish much more. Help me make these moments also a time of reflection and conversation with you as my best friend.
Help me to shake off bad habits, to have my heart cleansed from sin, to take care of my body, to remove the wrinkles of criticism and pessimism, to be grateful for washing away my sins on a cross.
O Lord, help me to be connected with you, not only on this day, but every day of the week. “Create in me, O God, a clean heart, and renew a righteous spirit within me”. Psalm 51:10
