Dear Lord,
Every second I breathe I know my entire body is filled with life. The air I breathe is a vital resource, which ensures my visible presence on this earth. A simple compound of earth was transformed into life, the day a peaceful heavenly breath descended to our world.
I can’t see it, yet I know it benefits all life uniformly. Because of it, the seed germinates, plants, grow and yield its fruit.
Please Lord, may each breath I take be a deep longing for Your divine presence and be cleansed from the pollution of sin. May the air I breathe be an encouragement to my troubled soul, knowing that even with every sigh, I owe my life to You.
