My Dear Child,
Look at the back of our hands. Have you ever wondered about the function of your nails?
Did you know fingernails grow much faster than your toenails? They even grow faster in summer than in winter and grow more when you get enough sleeps as well. Nails don’t sweat or breathe, they’re dead cells. If you chew on your nails, it does not make your hands look pretty and a lot of germs will enter your body, so you could easily get sick.
It is important to take care of your nails, they protect one of the most sensitive parts of your body, the tips of your fingers. There are many nerve endings in the tips of your fingers.
Thank God for your nails, they are small and may seem to be insignificant, but they play a great function for the body. When God created you, He thought of every detail so that you would work perfectly well with your hands. Here is a bible verse to remember “We are fearfully and wonderfully made”. Psalm 139:14.
With love, Dad/Mom
