My Dear Child,
Swords have been a symbol of power and authority, a weapon used long time ago in the armies of nations, to defend and protect themselves from their enemies. Did you know that the first swords were sharpened sticks, followed by bronze swords? Today, I want to remind you of the most important sword of all, the Bible. In Ephesians 6:17, it says, “Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Just like a sword helped to protect others, God’s Word helps protect our hearts and minds from wrong choices. Whenever you face challenges, remember to use the Bible, as it is powerful and helps guide you to make good decisions.
