The Strong Bones

My Dear Child,

Did you know that when a baby is born, its skeleton can contain more than 300 bones? As you grow, you have about 206 bones and more than half are found in your hands and feet. Your bones are five times stronger than steel.  The largest bone is in the hip. The longest bone is in the thigh. The smallest bone is in the ear, which is slightly larger than a grain of rice. The ears and the end of the nose have no bones inside. How many interesting things we can learn about our body! Cheerfully take care of your bones.

“The light of the eyes cheers the heart, and the good news strengthens the bones. ” Proverbs 15:30

With much love,
