My Dear Child,
Did you know that the lips are one of the most sensitive areas of the entire body? It takes many muscles to purse the mouth. There are no two lips which are the same. They are redder than the rest of the body because their skin is thinner and the blood vessels are more easily seen. In addition to being important when ingesting food, also the lips are essential for speaking. That is why, by our kind words, others can get to know about Jesus.
“The lips of the righteous make known what is pleasant…” Proverbs 10:32
