Dear Lord,
I know that in life I have made mistakes. Today I ask you for forgiveness for the times I have let You down by my words and actions. Perhaps I have not represented Your name to others as You are… a wise, prudent, forgiving, kind and loving Being. Forgive me for the times I have opened the window of doubt, criticism, and error. Purify my soul of all that is not constructive for the building of my character. Take control of my life today.
