Good Imitators

My Dear Child,

Parrots are beautiful birds, with very striking colours. They are the only birds that use their feet when they eat. Their feet have four toes, two in front and two at the back. They make their nests in holes in trees. Some can easily follow the rhythm of music. The vast majority of them form a couple relationship that last their entire lives. Have you heard a parrot speak? Well, although they don’t have vocal cords, they are able to imitate many sounds and calls of other animals or birds, even the sounds and words of humans. They can repeat songs, prayers, and answer questions when they are trained. The best imitator is the African grey parrot. How about you? Who do you imitate?

Jesus is our greatest example in all we say and do. Ask God today to help you be an imitator of good things. “Be imitators of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1
