Did you know that the elephant is the biggest of all land animals? There are thousands of them in South Africa. Its long trunk has several functions such as helping the young walk. It also serves to collect food and water, to defend themselves and throw objects. Since they don’t sweat, they bathe in mud to cool off, or they flap their ears. It’s the only four-legged animal that can’t jump. The elephant has an excellent memory. Importantly they remain attached to their large family to protect themselves from danger.
In the same way we must take care of ourselves as one family. “…Have the same care one for another.” 1 Corinthians 12:25
